  • JANUARY 2008: SECAPEM delivered to the South African Air Force the TAXAN solution for fighter pilots training. The target will be towed by the new BAe Hawk-120. SECAPEM was already present in the country with the TAXAN under the Cheetah aircraft. This new contract is a proof of the satisfaction of the user and the trust in our products.


  • 2007/2008 : SECAPEM provides the live firing training equipment in air-to-air configuration for SNIPERS (7,65mm and .50 cal) for the MASA (Mesure Active de Sécurité Aérienne, Air Police) installed in FENNEC helicopter. The TAXAN target, already well known by the Forces, is towed by the sling of a FENNEC, when the gunner is in the second helicopter, using the POCKET STATION to obtain instantaneously the projectile/target distance (ASPI system) and the distance between the gunner and the target (target range indicator). The system has been successfully qualified by the French Test Center CEAM.
